Live music, stalls, games and a Dakota flypast combined to make Holbeach Hospital’s annual summer fair a great success.
The theme for the event was country and western, with live music and several members of staff dressing up as cowboys and Indians.
Other attractions on the day included a red bus that has been turned into a mobile fish and chip restaurant and pony rides for children.
Staff nurse Joy Holden said: “We had a fantastic day, really brilliant.
“There were crowds there all day and although we don’t have a final fundraising figure yet, we’re hopeful that it will be a good amount.”
The hospital organises three main fundraising events each year, with all the proceeds going to the residents to pay for days out and treats for them.
Joy added: “We’ve just used some funds from a previous event to refurbish the rooms of six pallIative care residents.”
