Darts round-up: Pete seals tight Lincoln Arms win in Spalding and District League

The latest round of Spalding and District Darts League action served up some close contests.

In Division One, Lincoln Arms beat Tigers C 4-3 with Si Barnett going on last to beat Pete Richardson 3-2 to secure the win.

On the night Duncan Hunt, Dean Murray and Steve Stancer all had 180s, while there was also a 117 check out for Barnett and an 18-dart-leg for Stancer.

Elsewhere, Rose and Crown beat pre-season favourites Green Dragon 4-3 with Tim Tomizzi going on last and getting a 3-1 win to ensure the victory.

In the top-of-the-table clash, Consti A came out 4-3 winners against Tigers A. Nick Moyses again showed his fine form of the early 90s and won 3-2 in a 15-dart last leg decider against Ash Allen.

There were also 180s for Jason Vines, Clare Brookin and 16 and 18-dart-legs to captain Sam Roberts in his 3-1 victory.
In Division Two, the tight games continued with a 4-3 win for Tigers B against Consti D.

Tigers took the first four games of the night to seal the win, while Consti won the next three games but sadly had left it too late.

Royal Mail Cart also edged a 4-3 victory against Abbey Hotel with landlord Dean Chapman going on last to beat Dave Kirchen 2-1 and seal the win.
