Rock School Bus rolls into town

A new initiative to bring musical opportunities to young people in South Lincolnshire was officially launched in Spalding last week.

The Rock School Bus rolled into to The Sessions House for a special event to thank those who have helped sponsor the project.

Amber Sinclair has converted a bus to include a host of musical instruments and recording equipment, as well as performance stage.

Amber said: “I thought it would be a great idea to buy a bus and take music to the kids.

“We’ve all found out recently how much we appreciate playing music live and how important music can be for people’s mental health.

“We want to provide more opportunities to experience music in our communities.”

Amber hopes to eventually provide free sessions for young people through arts funding, but for the first summer you can book sessions with the trained musicians.

When in Spalding the bus will be at The Sessions House in Sheep Market.
