Much-needed new pavilion opens to offer a big boost for Spalding Tennis Club

Spalding Tennis Club opened their new pavilion to members on Saturday.

As a growing club, the pavilion will be a great social hub for members, parents watching their children play tennis and and an area for the juniors after their coaching sessions.

A club statement said: “Spalding Tennis Club would like to thank the Spalding councillors who have shown huge enthusiasm and donated towards this project, improving the sports facilities in Spalding spearheaded by Lord Porter and Angela Newton.”

This Sunday sees the club holding an open day at their Holyrood Walk base (10am-4pm).

All are welcome to come along and have a go at the sport, with coaching and equipment provided on the day.
