Chosen Charity of Holbeach has made presentations to three local beneficiaries.

The charity shop in Fleet Street has donated some of its proceeds to:

  • £500 to Whaplode Primary School swimming pool committee
  • £500 to Holbeach and District Youth Centre
  • £500 to Home Start.

Treasurer Iris Boland said: “Chosen Charity donated over £19,000 to local causes in 2013. Our target for 2014 is £25,000.
“We would like to thank all our faithful customers for their continued support that makes Chosen Charity so successful.”
She added: “We are all volunteers in the shop, that’s what allows us to make these large amounts of money.”
