‘Selfie’ photos of kids with Peppa Pig and George helped Spalding’s Iceland store towards its £1,000 fundraising target for Royal British Legion.

Children loved having their picture taken on mobiles with the TV characters (costing a grown-up £1).
It was part of fun at the Winfrey Retail Park on Saturday which raised £310. A raffle, tombola, cake stall and name the bear competition towards the end of last week brought in about £600.
The fundraising was rounded off on Sunday with a group of 17 staff and family members riding nine miles at Grafham Water.

Spalding Iceland’s talking shop representative Trina Hare said: “Saturday was so popular, it was great.
“Sunday was horrendous weather. We were soaked through, cold and muddy!”
