Two students at a Spalding tae kwon do class have been awarded black belt grading.

The achievement is the culmination of four years’ training for Dani Bassett (17) and Oliver Nicholson (13).
For Dani, it’s a triumph over adversity after she was registered as being blind in her left eye and took a break from the sport.
Instructor Jon Cooper said: “Both Oliver and Dani have done very well.”

Classes (at Castle Sports Complex): Mon 7-8pm and Thur 6-7pm (age six upwards); Thur 8-9pm (adults).
