Holbeach Chosen charity shop closes down due to coronavirus

A lack of staff and customers has resulted in the Fleet Street branch of Chosen closing down.

The shop will cease trading tomorrow (Friday), with clearance sales taking place today.

The charity’s High Street branch will remain open “for the forseseeable future”, a charity spokesman said.

The spokesman said of the decision: ” So sorry all.

It was an incredibly difficult decision but the current climate has had us make some very difficult decisions.

“We are heartbroken but we have no staff and not enough customers to keep us going.

“Don’t forget we have our shop in the high street that will be open until the prime minister makes us close.”
