£22,500 boost for children’s charity

A children’s cancer charity has benefited from a £22,500 boost in memory of a Pinchbeck worker.

Staff at Coveris’s Pinchbeck and Boston sites raised £22,500.61, which was presented to Andrew Fuller, fundraising manager for CLIC Sargent.

The funds were raised in memory of Steve Callaway, who lost his battle with cancer in November 2013.

Following Steve’s death Coveris, formerly Paragon Print and Packaging, set up the Steve Callaway Challenge to raise funds for his chosen charity, CLIC Sargent.

The cash was raised thanks to a cycle ride involving several Coveris employees.

In 2014, Coveris employees raised £27,000 in Steve’s memory for CLIC Sargent.

Steve was factory manager at a number of Coveris sites over the years, including Pinchbeck’s Enterprise Way.
