16-year-old arrested after physical and sexual assault on man with learning difficulties

A 16-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of causing ABH and sexual assault on a man with learning difficulties.

It follows reports a group confronted the man in his 20s while walking in Carter’s Park, Holbeach around 7pm on Tuesday, July 5.

Following an appeal issued yesterday (Thursday), today police announced one person has been arrested.

A police spokesman said: “Following the incident in #Holbeach on the evening of July 5. We have arrested a 16 year old male on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and sexual assault.

“He remains in custody and we are continuing to support the victim.”
