Night of laughter thanks to return of Funhouse comedy

Funhouse Comedy Club starts its new season at the South Holland Centre on February 5 with a night full of laughter.

Headlining is Scotland’s finest ginger-haired comedian, Brian Higgins, who has been likened to an early Billy Connolly. Whilst one of his principal interests in life is himself, “Higgy” delivers his diatribe on life’s funny (and not so funny) ups and downs in an energetic style that has made him a favourite both in the UK and as far afield as Dubai.

Supporting will be the very lively and genial Gerry K. Having performed stand-up all over the world he still found time to fit in some TV appearances and you may recognise his face from TV’s The Bill and FHM Comedy Heroes.

His humorous stories and factual tales are told with a “twinkle in the eyes” and leave his audiences crying with laughter.

Completing the line-up will be the fascinating El Baldinho with his individual style of comedy magic and mind-reading.

Compere for the night is the quirky James Dowdeswell who has appeared on such TV shows as Russell Howard’s Good News, Celebrity Deal Or No Deal and who also played The Count in Ricky Gervais’ Extras.
