Youngsters encouraged to party with Dance Factor

Young people are being encouraged to join a street dance group near them and get dancing!

The street dance sessions are part of the legacy of Dance Factor Lincolnshire 2015, a large scale project which provided ten weeks of free street dance sessions for young people across Lincolnshire last year.
The project culminated with a grand final in Lincoln in May 2015, with the winning groups – including Holbeach crew D-Feet – going on to perform at Lincoln Castle’s Magna Party.

The Dance Factor Party 2016 will be a celebration of all the groups that have continued running since the competition. New young people are being encouraged to join the sessions for their chance to perform at the event at The Embassy Theatre, Skegness on Saturday, February 27.
Amy Dalton, committee member of community group InspireDance, who is leading the project said:
“I am really pleased that we are able to continue the legacy of Dance Factor Lincolnshire 2015 thanks to funding from Trusthouse Charitable Foundation and other regional partners.”

Sessions in our area:
Mondays – South Holland Centre, Spalding (5pm–6.30pm, £1.50 per session); Quadring Village Hall (6pm, £1 per session)
Thursdays – Peele Community College, Long Sutton (7pm-8.30pm, £1.50 per session)
