Young Spalding theatre group ready to amaze with Joseph musical

Spalding’s Polka Dot Academy is promising its most spectacular musical yet when Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat opens at the South Holland Centre on Thursday (March 26).

Limelight Youth Theatre students’ singing, acting and dancing will be complemented by pupils from St John The Baptist Primary School and Spalding Primary School who will perform as the show’s choir on alternate performances.

Directors Phil Norton and Darren O’Sullivan said: “Putting on a show like this is a great way for our students to build confidence and make lots of new friends.
“We really hope that the local community will support us again by coming to see this show.
“The children really throw all their effort into our productions and they love nothing more than to be rewarded by showcasing their efforts to family, friends and the people of South Holland!”

Tickets can be booked by contacting the South Holland Centre on 01775 76477 or at www.southhollandcentre.co.uk
Shows take place at 6.30pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and there are matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 1.30pm.
