World Book Day celebrations continue

World Book Day has enjoyed an epilogue this year as your pictures continue to roll in.

Most schools were closed on the day itself (March 1) but schools and pre-schools across South Holland have re-arranged the day so the children don’t miss out.

Among those was St Bartholomew’s Primary School, West Pinchbeck,

On Monday, March 5, pupils from the school dressed up as their favourite book characters.

The children also brought in their favourite books to share with their friends.

Each child was issued a £1 book token in order to redeem against one of the promotional released books this year.

A spokesman for the school said: “The children enjoyed the day and it was great to see so many wonderful costumes across the school!”

If you have more pictures send them to [email protected] with names, ages and where you’re from.
