Woman given suspended sentence for having knives in Spalding street

A woman has admitted two counts of having knives in a public place in Spalding.

Julia Plaszczewska, 23, from Fishtoft Road in Boston pleaded guilty to having both a lock knife and a kitchen knife without lawful authority in West Marsh Road on Friday, March 1.

She was given a three month jail sentence suspended for 12 months by magistrates in Boston yesterday (Monday, March 18).

Plaszczewska was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £154 victim surcharge.

A court order was made to destroy both knives.
