A woman has been banned from shops and parts of Spalding town centre.
A two-year Criminal Behaviour Order has been issued to Leanne Thornton (41), of no fixed address.
Lincolnshire Police say the order follows a series of prolific offences of theft, public order and assault committed by Thornton spanning a number of months in the Hall Place area of Spalding, and the dedicated work by the Neighbourhood Policing Team to tackle this antisocial behaviour.
She will not be allowed to go Hall Place or enter shops subscribed to the ShopWatch initiative.
A spokesman for South Holland Police, said: “This provides police powers to arrest and proactively deal with antisocial behaviour.
“We want to protect our communities for all types of offending, and orders like this enable us to send a clear message that her behaviour won’t be tolerated. It also provides reassurance to our community that if she does breach the conditions, she will face a criminal conviction which could lead to prison time.
“We keep a continued watch of people who have been issued with CBOs, and we proactively release their image so that members of the community have the opportunity to recognise offending, and are more able to report an incident if one occurs.
“We thank you for reporting antisocial behaviour to us.”
