Weekend to forget for Moulton

Moulton Harrox lost by 36 runs to Ketton Sports in the Lincolnshire Championship South.

Chasing Ketton’s 176 all out, they slipped to 140 all out themselves in the 39th over.

There was a loss too for Moulton’s Sunday side at home to Kimbolton.

Eight of the host’s players had a turn bowling, the pick being Matthew Hall (3-19) and Lewis Peak (2-23) as the visitors posted 230 all out in the 38th over.

In response Moulton fell to 122 all out in the 27th over.

Openers Jamie Parrish (25) and Peak (21) put on 47 for the first wicket but the highest score thereafter was Harry Shersby’s 30.
