Reports of traffic lights being off after power cut

A power cut is causing issues in and around Pinchbeck, including some reports of traffic lights being off.

Lights near both Wardentree Lane and Wygate Park in Spalding are reported to be off by motorists leading to long delays on roads.

Park Road and parts of Pinchbeck Road in Spalding near Wygate Road were already closed due to roadworks.

The incident was reported at around 11.30am this morning (Wednesday, August 12) with around a thousand homes also affected, National Grid say.

A spokesman said: “Our engineers are working to get your power back on. We’re still assessing what repairs are needed, so we don’t have a timeframe yet.”
