Up against the side that began the day just below them in the Future Sports United Counties League Premier Division, Holbeach United lost 3-2 at Cogenhoe United.

Matt Long had given the homes side a 20th minute lead but the Tigers hit back to lead 2-1 thanks to a Jonny Lockie brace.

But two goals in four minutes midway through the second half from Joshua Melling and Montel Dore sealed the win for Cogenhoe.

They’re now four points behind fourth placed Pinchbeck United who won 1-0 at Desborough thanks to a Jordan Nuttell goal.
