Wednesday football: Back-to-back wins for Holbeach but Pinchbeck battered by Boston

Holbeach United enjoyed a 4-1 win over Peterborough Northern Star on Wednesday night, while Pinchbeck United were smashed 7-0 at home by Boston Town.

Starting with the Tigers, goals from Jonny Lockie (2), Will Barnes and Jon Fairweather gave them all three points at Carter’s Park.

Connor Pilbeam had made it 1–1 just after the break, but Phil Barnes’ side stepped it up a notch to make it back-to-back wins.

Meanwhile, Tom Crozier’s first home game as manager of Pinchbeck ended in a 7-0 derby drubbing.

Fraser Bayliss (3), Tom Garrick (2), Luke White and Harry Grigas got the goals at the Sir Halley.
