Gosberton Risegate speedway star Simon Lambert has earned himself a sponsorship boost from Boston-based butchers CD Dunham.
The 27-year-old has received vital backing from the family butchers, who are based on London Road in Boston, ahead of the new season.
Lambert will once again be competing in the Premier League for the Peterborough Panthers, having been named their rider of the year for 2015.
But he knows that it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of generous sponsorship.
Lambert said: “I’m really grateful to Carl Dunham for offering to help me with my 2016 season.
“Carl’s sponsorship is a big boost to helping me to keep my equipment in top condition.
“I know all sports are expensive, but speedway in particular is a hard, high maintenance sport and bike engines have to be serviced after only six meetings, which could be less than two weeks.”
The speedway season gets back under way on March 28.
