After successful GCSE results University Academy Holbeach (UAH) say 70 per cent of its students are returning to its sixth form.
A spokesman for the school said there was a ‘great atmosphere’ this morning (Thursday, August 20) as pupils celebrated with families and staff, as well as reflecting on their personal and academic success.
A spokesman said: “The results reflect the hard work, dedication and ambition demonstrated by pupils, alongside the unwavering commitment of staff and the support of families throughout their time at UAH.”
Outgoing principal, Miss Sheila Paige said: “We are absolutely delighted with the achievements our pupils have secured today.
“Their resilience and determination over these past two years have truly paid off, and it is fantastic to see them rewarded with the grades they deserve.
“I want to extend my sincere thanks to our wonderful staff, whose dedication is reflected in these results, and to our families for their continued, vital support.
“We look forward to welcoming many of these pupils back to our sixth form, which continues to go from strength to strength. For those embarking on new paths, we wish them every success for the future.”
