Former Peterborough Sports midfielder Dan Jarvis is Jimmy Dean’s first new signing of the summer.
Jarvis said he was looking forward to working with Dean again. “I’m buzzing to be here and can’t wait to getting started.”
The Tulips have so far arranged six warm-up matches ahead of their historic step into National League North.
They open at home to AFC Rushden & Diamonds on Tuesday, July 7, with Boston Town visiting the Sir Halley Stewart Field four days later.
National League play-off finalists Scunthorpe United are in town on Saturday, July 18, followed by a trip to Quorn on Tuesday, July 21.
Bishop’s Stortford are the visitors on Saturday July 25, with an Essex away day to National League South side Chelmsford City, on Saturday, August 1.
