Three second-half goals steered Spalding United to a hard-fought victory over Moulton Harrox on Thursday as both sides concluded their pre-season schedules.

After a goalless first period at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing FIeld, strikes from Jordan Thomas (50), Lewis Webb (81) and Nathan Stainfield (86) sealed a 3-0 triumph for the Tulips.

Pat Rayment’s side now have a week of training before next Saturday’s Evo-Stik League First Division South opener at Sutton Coldfield Town, while Harrox start their Peterborough Premier Division season at home to rivals Pinchbeck United on Tuesday (6.30pm).
