Sandringham craft fair offers fun for all

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe Sandringham Craft, Sculpture & Art Fair – one of the most popular craft shows in the annual calendar – takes place this weekend.

Talented craftsmen, artists and designers from all around the UK will be exhibiting their crafts and skills at the show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, giving visitors a chance to buy unique hand crafted items.

But this event boasts much, much more…

For those visitors wanting to try their hand at a new craft, visit one of the many workshops and maybe learn to paint, spin or knit.

There is, as usual, an extensive food marquee where you can try before you buy and treat yourselves to a wide variety of mouth-watering delights. This marquee is always a popular visit.
Demonstrations over the weekend include:

  • bee-keeping
  • marionettes
  • blacksmiths
  • X stitch
  • Have A Go Potter’s Wheel

Last but not least, there’s The Sandringham Cup.

See 12 top carvers from England and Europe compete for this well sought after award.

The noise and excitement of seeing these carvers in action, is a sight you won’t forget for a long time.

All together it promises to be a great show for the discerning visitor.

Admission is £6.50 for adults, £6 for over 65s and £2 for children.
