Tulips announce who is staying and new signings

Eight players have been released by Spalding ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The Southern League side’s retained list shows 12 players staying at the Sir Halley Stewart Field but Connor Brown, Sam Cartwright, Callum Chettle, Kieron Freeman (Hednesford), Jon Ngandu (Alvechurch), Joe Nyahwema (Australia), Nathan Stainfield and Glenn Walker (Wellingborough) have all departed.

Joining new signings Connor Johnson and Ben Hart in manager Jimmy Dean’s new squad are Aaron Chapman, James Clifton, Bart Cybulski, Nathan Fox, Dan Lawlor, Liam Moore, Jordan Nicholson, Jack Roberts, Mane Sano Sani, Dion Sembie-Ferris, Lamine Sherif and Jake West.

The Tulips have revealed their season ticket prices for the new campaign. Adults are £210, concessions £130, youths (12-17) £80 and children (5-11) £30. Call 07921 699072 for details of how to pay.

Spalding have added a sixth match to their pre-season programme, travelling to National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town on Saturday, July 19.

Spalding have been given a bye in the first round of the Lincolnshire County FA Senior Cup and will play Bourne Town or Cleethorpes Town at home in the quarter-final. No date has been set yet but ties must be played before the end of the year.
