Trio ensures exciting future ahead after starting new venture

Three Spalding insurance specialists are set to embark on an exciting new venture together.
Mick Cunningham, Elaine Mothers and Aimee Fleming have joined forces to be part of a new insurance brokerage in Spalding.
Based at the Lovells Business Centre in St John’s Road, Gauntlet Spalding Insurance Brokers is aiming to open up extensive avenues for business customers.
The project is being headed up by Mick who has 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry and understands the needs of the Spalding community.
He has partnered with the highly respected Leeds-based Gauntlet Group, who provide valuable back-office support and access to a huge number of different insurers.
Elaine and Aimee complete the experienced team who will be embarking on the new chapter under the ownership of the directors of Lovells Auto Body Centre.
Both Mick and Aimee formerly worked at Shield Insurance while Elaine was the manager of Norman C Williams and Son.
The trio came together when those businesses were bought by Swinton Insurance a few years ago.
Mick enthused: “We are an insurance broker that delivers traditional business values – something that is sadly missing in today’s insurance market.
“We are very proud to be able to offer a personal and tailored customer service experience to the people of Spalding.
“We can provide insurance protection ranging from business and commercial insurance to fleet and personal car insurance with much more besides.”
Gauntlet Spalding Insurance Brokers, which is a trading name of Gauntlet Eastern, can be visited in person and have parking at the new office in St John’s Road.
The team can also be contacted on 01775 660660 or emailed at [email protected]
