Tributes have been paid to a former district and parish councillor.
Jenny Rowe represented Sutton Bridge at district level from 1999 to 2007 and was on the parish council.
South Holland District Council leader Nick Worth said: “I knew Jenny for a number of years and she was a really lovely person who looked after her community.
“She was larger than life and certainly didn’t hold back on what she thought was right. She was very passionate about Sutton Bridge and was well respected in the local community. I’m sure she will be sadly missed.”
A spokesman for Sutton Bridge Parish Council said: “Up until the 2011 local elections, Jenny was a prominent and longstanding member of the council having served as chair during her tenure of what was previously Sutton Bridge Town Council.
“The parish council offers its sincere condolences to Jenny’s family and friends.”
