Teddy’s parade fundraiser

Teddy bears of all shapes and sizes could be found at a popular picnic in Spalding at the weekend.

Ayscoughfee Gardens was packed with everyone’s favourite soft toy to help raise money for next year’s Flower Parade.
The parade’s Deputy Ambassador Holly Kendrick was on hand to help judge the bears.
An array of traditional games were part of the fun in the gardens along with inflatables, stalls and refreshments.
The weather held-off and visitors were able to enjoy entertainment from Holbeach Town Band, Diamondz School of Dance along with the Ukulele Orchestra.
Funds raised on the day will be put towards the annual target of £50k for the Flower Parade.
The next fundraiser is a town fete on Sunday, August 27 again at Ayscoughfee Gardens, and entry is free for the event which runs from 11am to 4pm.
