Unrest among some staff at Spalding’s Sir John Gleed School has been the focus of trade unions talks in recent days.
Representatives of the National Union of Teachers (NUT) and The Teachers’ Union (NASUWT) have been working to resolve issues.
The school, which has been in special measures since April 2013, declined to elaborate much.
However, a statement issued by headteacher Will Scott said the leadership and staff have worked really hard to improve standards.
He added: “There is still a lot to do and we are working together as a school to implement a detailed school improvement plan. Our focus is not only on securing the best possible outcomes for our students but also on prioritising the wellbeing of colleagues.
“We are in open dialogue with NASUWT and NUT to discuss any issues colleagues have and we will work quickly and collaboratively to resolve any possible issues.”
An Ofsted report published last month, recognised the significant progress being made throughout the school.
Mr Scott said: “We have been working exceptionally hard to create a really good school following the merger of the boys’ and the girls’ schools in September 2012. This is the second report in a row to acknowledge the progress we have made and it is particularly rewarding to hear the students themselves acknowledge all of the improvements.”
