Town gears up for car show

Holbeach Car and Bike Show returns this Sunday, July 23.

Now in its third year, the Holbeach Parish Council event will host more than 350 cars and motorbikes at The Lawns Caravan site on Lowgate.
Awards will be handed out and include those for best in show, best modified, best classic, best vintage bike, best modern bike, and best club stand.
The event begins at 10am and will include a host of trade stands, food and drink stalls and entertainment from local bands Hold the Sky and Velocity.
Royals Gym will also be holding their popular Strongman competition throughout the day.
Visitor parking is via Park Road.
A spokesman for the parish council said: “We would like to thank Holbeach Primary Academy and UAH for allowing us to use their fields, as well as all the sponsors and Holbeach Air Cadets for their support this year.”
The council is looking for volunteers to help out, particularly between 7.30am and 10am and 2.30pm and 4pm to help vehicles on and off site.
Anyone who may be able to help is asked to contact isobelhutchinson@holbeachpc.com

PLEASE NOTE – The event is no longer at Holbeach Primary School due to the weather and will take place at The Lawns.
