Town choc full of festive fun

A chocolate shop and charity have teamed up to get people searching Spalding this Christmas.

Niall Holland, the founder of Wicked Temper in The Crescent, is putting on a Christmas Scavenger Hunt to raise funds for Ella’s Project.

It helps with the Spalding Voice’s Give a Gift campaign to provide presents for those that might otherwise not receive them at Christmas.

Until December 13, you can pay £2 for the form and hunt local shops for the phrase.

Those with the correct phrase will be in the draw to win a hamper full of goods from the various stores taking part.

There’s also second and third prizes of Wicked Temper’s chocolate on offer to entrants.

Forms can be picked up during its opening hours of 9.30am to 4pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, 9.30am to 5pm on Thursday and Friday and 10am to 5pm on Saturday.

Niall said: “It’s a fantastic local charity we’re supporting and it’s getting people into our independent shops.”
