Tornadoes in village

A country music afternoon is being held to raise money for the MS charity on Sunday, August 20.

The duo Pete Stothard and Stuart Payne, the Texas Tornados, will be playing the Elizabethan Centre in Whaplode Drove from 2pm.
Pete is a well-known line dancer who made the natural progression into performing himself before meeting multi-instrumentalist Stuart.
Stuart has played in the past with many of the big names in country including Circuit Judge, Sidewinder and the successful Hooked On Country Sold On Sixties theatre show.
They’ll be backed by Tong G with his 50s and 60s music and the voice of Elvis Presley.
Tickets are £8 and available by ringing Jack on 01406 330528 or Dave on 01406 330619.
