South Holland trio Chris Mycock, Eamon Cherry and Alan Cherry got their hands on The Castle Trophy.
They were among 20 teams of three players, some travelling from Lincoln and Peterborough as well as South Holland, to be split into two groups at the Castle Sports Complex event.
All teams played four games each, with three bowls per player, played at one hour intervals – starting at 9am.
After a long day of excellent bowls, Mycock and the Cherry duo emerged victorious ahead of runners-up Paul Simpson, Martin Simpson and Simon Lilley, from Spalding.
Third position went to Paul and Nigel Cherry, who teamed up with young talent Harry Mycock.
Another South Holland-based team – Cliff Searson, Bob Davis and Jordan Philpott – managed to score a full house of nine shots in one end and were presented with a small gift to recognize this unusual achievement.
Sponsorship for the day was kindly supplied by local business man Geoff Herd of Memory Lane Antiques, Albert Street.
He also presented the trophy and prize money to the eventual winners.
