Ton-up McMillan shares glory with Drumm

Moulton Harrox made it six wins on the bounce with a clinical win over Sleaford in the South Lincs Border League Championship.
Captain Matt Rose won the toss and elected to bat but they struggled to get away the Sleaford attack.
Jamie Juckes (13) fell with the score on 26. Josh Newton joined Ruari Drumm at the crease but with the score crawling to 68/2 after 22 overs, the opener was dismissed for ten.
Newton was then joined by Rose, and the pair gradually increased the run rate. Newton struck three consecutive boundaries and eventually fell for 46, hoisting the ball to long-on.
After Robbie Townsend departed, Flynn McMillan joined Rose and saw the captain pass a second consecutive half-century. McMillan was eventually out for a punchy 23 and Rose followed for 61.
A quickfire unbeaten ten from eight balls by Anish Suwarneraj pushed the total to a competitive 192.
In reply, Sleaford slumped to 29/4 and Robbie Townsend (4-15) dismantled the middle order as they were sent back to the pavilion for 134.
Moulton second team are still hunting their first win of the season in Division One after a tough trip to Burghley.
Bowling first, Moulton took two quick wickets — strike bowler Pradeep Indika making the first breakthrough, followed by youngster Oliver Despicht, who found the edge of the Burghley captain to leave them wobbling at 31/2.
However, the experienced Burghley top order launched a strong counter-attack, putting together a mammoth 175-run partnership on the to an imposing total of 338/4.
In response, openers Ant Morris and Charlie Poulter fell early. Sonal Martin and Lewis Martin hit back to keep up with the run rate but both fell just short of their half-centuries. Their dismissals sparked a collapse, with Moulton eventually bowled out for 146.
Harry Lovell returned to the fold after a spell away from the Rutland Sunday League team and marked it in style with a brilliant 3-16.
Tight bowling kept Ufford battling throughout, though a strong hundred from their opener kept them in the game. Ruari Drumm took 3-32 and youngster Jotham Suwarneraj delivered a composed 1-16, with Ufford finishing on 184.
In reply, it was all one-way traffic. A brutal opening partnership between Drumm and McMillan saw the game wrapped up in just 19 overs. McMillan smashed an unbeaten 111 off 67 balls, while Drumm hit a composed 49 from 48 to seal a clinical ten-wicket victory.
