Tigers finish on a high

A superb second-half recovery saw Holbeach United end their Thurlow Nunn League season on a high.

They hit back from a goal down at half time to beat Stanway Pegasus 3-1.
George Frost, Sam Harris and Ryan Cook found the net to ensure manager Danny Clifton’s last match in charge was a successful one and confirmed sixth spot in the Division One North table.
Tigers: Rigby, Greenacre, Lee, Oldham, Ling, Carter, Hoyle, Frost, Thorne, Cook, Kompton. Attendance: 102.
p Declan Earth’s solo strike was enough to earn Moulton Harrox victory over Netherton United and keep them on target to lift the GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough League title.
They trail leaders Uppingham on a goal difference of two but have two games in hand.
A fascinating title race still involves six teams, with Crowland Town also fancying their chances of making a late dash for glory after Harry Grigas, Harvey Henderson and Jordan Kirchin helped them to a 3-0 win over Oundle Town. On Tuesday they overcame Deeping Rangers by the odd goal in five after conceding the opening goal.
