Tigers enjoy seaside trip

A terrific away display saw Holbeach United to their third win of the season.
The Tigers pulled off a 2-1 win at FC Clacton to climb off the bottom of the Thurlow Nunn League First Division North standings.
An own goal set the Tigers on their way before Alex Greenfield made it 2-0 in the 58th minute.
Clacton halved the lead but the visitors held on with late substitute debuts by Academy players Callum Staples (Under-23) and Jack O’Sullivan (Under-17) completing a great day.
Tigers: Carter, Coelho, Greenfield (Staples), Hamilton (Buffong), Hyde (O’Sullivan), Kacirek, Oldham, Sellars, Shenille (Lee), West.
Holbeach are in FA Vase action at Sandiacre Town on Saturday.

Pinchbeck United were beaten in the UCL Division One for the first time since the opening day.
Elliot Foster slotted them into a tenth-minute lead at Pinxton but it finished 2-1.
Knights: Martin, Panton, Balding, Howlett, Sherrif (Jacobi), Brooks, Stevens (Callaby), Foster, Slater, Cullen, Ward.
This Saturday the Knights travel to Clifton All Whites in the FA Vase.
