Tigers downed by Crows

Crowland Town remain hopeful of being runners up in the GCE Hire Peterborough League final standings, but a 2-1 win at Holbeach United Reserves on Saturday condemned their hosts to the wooden spoon.

Archie Rickards and Danny Firth got the Crows’ goals, with Flynn Hyde netting for the Tigers.
To grab second they probably will need to win their last two as they lost 3-1 at home to the new champions Uppingham Town. With two fixtures left they’re two points behind Warboys who have one game remaining.
On the same night, Moulton Harrox earned a 3-1 win at Deeping Rangers Reserves.
Whaplode Drove Rovers gave their goal difference a huge boost with a 9-0 victory over Wittering Premiair in Division One. Avelino Vieira led the way with a four-goal blast to go with strikes from Will Knight, Steve Jucikas, Ryan Ellwood, Adam Richardson and Sam Miller.
