During the weeks and months my Elite Sport Academy staff and I work tirelessly to improve chances for the children in our area.
After more than eight years of coaching and working hard I feel that we are in a good place to provide our next budding superstars with the chances and availability to learn, try, fail and succeed in their quest for their sporting memories and dreams.
Over the next few weeks and months there is going to be more announcements for our youngsters over a variety of different sports – so stay tuned.
Over the past week it has been great for us to introduce and welcome former Olympic and Commonwealth Team GB swimmer Sophie Allen to our team of Elite coaches.
Sophie will bring added experience, knowhow and knowledge of what it takes to perform and break through to the elite levels of sports – and it goes without saying that she will provide the children with a great role model.
So in the coming weeks we will be working hard, along with Sophie, to bring more opportunities for the children in creating a positive swimming environment – not only having confidence in the water and learning to swim, but also to those children who would like to compete in the water.
Away from the water, and something completely fresh, is that come April here at the Elite Sport Academy we will also be running boxercise classes for children of different ages in varying areas in South Holland.
This just adds to what we are doing and will benefit children greatly with self-confidence and discipline, as well as co-ordination skills.
The boxercise for children classes are completely safe and consist of a lot of footwork movements and pad work.
With these exciting opportunities coming up, keep your eyes peeled for full information.
You can even start to register your interest in both the swimming lessons and boxercise sessions now by emailing me at [email protected].
