Pupils at the William Stukeley Primary School have been learning all about the bright lights of the entertainment industry.
One afternoon a week the school becomes the Stukeley University and the children take part in seminars to help them decide on a career path once they leave education.
To help them understand the highs and lows of the entertainment world, the school held The S-Factor, giving them the chance to experience everything from performing and hair and make-up to the pressures and repeated rehearsals.
Teacher Andrea Emeny said: “It was fantastic. The children really enjoyed it and it gave some of them confidence which is coming out in other areas of the curriculum.
“The support from parents was brilliant too. It really brought us closer together as a community.”
Pupils across the whole school were given the chance to join in and Mrs Emeny said it shone a spotlight on some particularly talented children.
She added: “We’ll definitely be doing it again next year. We’ve already had children asking if they can get involved next time.
“It was a great experience for them all.”
