The best laid schemes of Lions

Spalding Lions enjoyed their annual celebration of Burn’s Night on Saturday (January 24).

Every year the local branch of the charity gathers for the annual celebration of the Scottish poet Robert Burns.

A piper in full Scottish dress piped attendees into the South Holland Centre.

There was also a ceremonial cutting of the haggis before the roast beef dinner.

Wall of Sound disco provided the soundtrack to the evening.

A spokesman for Spalding Lions said: “It was a wonderful and supportive night.

“Special thanks to everyone who turned out to support our event and who made it possible.”
