Ten victories on the spin for seven-up women

It’s now an incredible ten wins on the spin for Spalding United Women after they crushed Cambridge Rangers 7-2 at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field on Sunday.
The spectacular success keeps Spalding at the top of the Alan Boswell Group Cambridgeshire League Division One standings.
Hosts Spalding took control from the off, asserting their authority with early attacking intent.
That paid off as Phoebe Richards-Reeves laid on an early opener by crossing for Constance Onyinah to slot home.
It was 2-0 when a Richards-Reeves corner was headed home by Nicola Krajewska, then Grace Hill added a third after a defensive mix-up.
Not done there, Onyinah cashed in on a great long-range assist from keeper Vickie Foster to make it 4-0.
Onyinah then turned provider for Ivy Lane to bag number five, before soon completing her hat-trick.
Amazingly, a long-range screamer from Alesha Rix made it 7-0 at half-time.
Cambridge pulled two back in the second period, but Spalding remain on course for the title and visit Deeping Rangrs next this Sunday.
l Spalding United Women smashed Soham Town Rangers 6-0 last Tuesday night.
The visitors started brightly, pressing high and creating early chances through Onyinah, Lane and Ava Smith, setting the tone for a dominant performance.
Their pressure paid off in the 23rd minute when Onyinah turned provider, sliding the ball into Lane who calmly finished to make it 1-0.
Spalding continued to control proceedings and doubled their lead on 36 minutes as Onyinah found the net.
She then added a second just before half-time, finishing from close range following good work by Smith, giving Spalding a deserved 3-0 lead at the break.
The second half brought more of the same attacking quality.
Onyinah completed her hat-trick shortly after the restart with a strike that deflected into the net, before adding her fourth of the game just after the hour mark following a well delivered ball into the box.
The scoring was rounded off in the 90th minute when Alesha Rix’s powerful effort proved too much for the goalkeeper, slipping through her grasp to seal an outstanding 6-0 win.
Player of the match Annie Vayro delivered a commanding performance, providing real stability and control from the centre of the pitch.
