A Weston teenager’s business idea has got tails wagging and is raising money for charity.
Tallulah Stamp, of Weston, has used lockdown to set up her new Lula and Pip dog treats venture.
The 13-year-old had researched what goes in to the dog treats her cocker spaniel Pip likes and was surprised with how unhealthy many of the shop bought ones are.
So instead the Spalding Academy pupil started to bake her own.
Tallulah then started selling them herself and they’ve proved a big hit, particularly with customers at Weston shop and Ayscoughfee Cafe.
And after selling more than dog treats and cup cakes, she’s donated 25 per cent of profits to the RSPCA.
Mum Rebecca said: “I’m incredibly proud of her.
“Not only did she bake the treats herself using healthy ingredients but she’s designed her own packaging and label and is running it like a real business with spreadsheets and working out costs.
“For a child to be so innovative and inventive is fantastic. Tallulah’s a real animal lover and she wants to go into that when she’s older.
“With this she’s helping animals and learning business skills.
Tallulah, who enjoys sports including football and tennis, said: “I’ve really enjoyed doing it.”
