Team win for Silver Spoon

Four archers from Silver Spoon Bowmen made the short trip to Boston’s Pilgrim Bowmen to shoot the first outdoor tournament of the year.

Cold conditions deteriorated during the day bringing an early abandonment for safety reasons after the first distance,

The Bowmen showed tremendous skill and spirit to compete and were all rewarded with medals or trophies.

Steph Reynolds won the senior ladies recurve, repeated by Lynn Fisher in the compound.

The senior gents barebow was won by Dave Inglis, with Sam Newton coming second in the senior gents compound.

They also won the club team competition, narrowly beating the strong team of Sherwood Archers.
