Take the first step towards a dream career at Spalding jobs fair

Looking for a job in South Holland or considering a career change?

Then the South Holland Jobs Fair on Tuesday, March 17, could be just the ticket.

The event provides the chance to speak to more than 30 employers and training providers from a range of industries who are currently recruiting.

It takes place at the South Holland Centre in Market Place, Spalding, between 10am and 2pm and is organised by South Holland District Council in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions.

Representatives from several sectors including the food industry, legal profession and training providers will be on hand to discuss current vacancies as well as offering information about a wide range of jobs.

Visitors can get career advice and learn about skills needed for different trades.

Helpful hints will also be offered to anyone who is thinking of starting their own business or looking to benefit from training and development opportunities.

If you’re unsure about the types of benefits available to you or if you’re an employer in need of recruitment advice, you’ll find guidance too at the South Holland Jobs Fair.

Coun Nick Worth, portfolio holder for economic development, said: “The jobs fair has been running for five years now and is recognised as a very useful event – last year over 600 people attended.

“There will be a wealth of advice and information for anyone looking for work or who wants to learn more about different careers and opportunities.”
