The Baston Car and Bike Show has grown up to be very different to other automotive shows.
Classics mingle with all the latest models from just about every main dealership in the area, so visitors can be both nostalgic and look for a new car in a relaxed environment at same time.
Now in its sixth year, the event is one of the biggest automotive shows in South Lincolnshire with over 650 vehicles on display in 2014 and it looks set to be even bigger this year with more than 15 dealerships from both mainstream and luxury manufacturers already confirmed.
There’s also a treat in store for F1 fans as Hall and Hall will take along four amazing 1970s Formula One cars including the Marlborough McLaren M23 (ex James Hunt), Ferrari 312T ’76 (ex Clay Regazzoni), the Wolf WR2 (ex Jody Scheckter) and the Shadow DN5 (ex Tom Price).
For visitors who like a bit of time travel the show will have a fantastic Back to the Future themed display area, complete with a De Lorean DMC-12, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film.
Visitors can have their photo taken in the car and a chance to win a ride after the show.
As well as the cars and bikes, visitors can enjoy live bands, kids’ activities and catering including a BBQ, picnic area and a full bar with real ales.
So why not go along to Brudenell Playing Field, off Main Road, and be part of the fun on Sunday?
The show is open from 10am to 4pm. Admission £3.
