Take a pause at peri meri event

Feeling pants about the menopause? A free event in Spalding on Thursday (November 27) might be just for you.

Lincolnshire based charity Every-One is putting on a Spalding Menopause Wellbeing Marketplace at Tonic Health on Westlode Street from 10am to 2pm.

Working with the Peri Menopause Moment Project and funded by the National Lottery, it aims to get people talking about the menopause.

A spokesman for Every-One said: “This free event will contain a host of providers promoting better sleep, mindfulness, herbs, aromatherapy, therapeutic support, staying active…and lots more!”

The event will also see demonstrations throughout the day and three health checks.

Paula Batchelor, the brains behind Peri Meri Menopause Moments, is overjoyed to be helping more people across Lincolnshire. “It is just amazing to think that five years ago I had an idea that might support those on their menopause journey, to now realise that dream.

“It hasn’t been an easy journey getting here and I don’t think it’s perfect, but I do think it’s a great start and I want to identify and recognise all those that work and encourage menopause awareness and support across Lincolnshire, as this can only enable people to identify what works for them, which is crucial.

“No one person is the same on their menopause journey!”
