The sun shone and people turned out in droves to support the first ever Holbeach Music and Beer Festival.

Organised by Sean Taylor and held at the Holbeach United Community Sports Academy at Pennyhill, the event saw more than 2,500 people go along to enjoy the live music.

Over the three days, 17 acts took to the stage and visitors were treated to 36 real ales.

Sean said: “I was overwhelmed by the success of the weekend.

“So many people came along to support it, some I knew from Holbeach and many faces I didn’t recognise.

“Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and I’m getting great feedback. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it an annual event.”

The festival was raising money for the sports academy but a final figure is not yet known.
