Summer Fayre at service station on Sunday

A charity summer fayre is taking place at the Welcome Break (formerly Applegreen) service station on Sunday (August 20).

The fundraiser for Macmillan is free to attend, and will include a host of games and stalls, a bouncy castle, entertainment and visit from the Ghostbusters who are even bringing some slime.

It’s being held from 10am to 3pm on the land around the Goodison Road, A16, Cowbit Road area.

It’s being organised by unit business manager for Costa, Victoria Deaton.

A spokesman said: “We will be hosting a variety of entertainment for the whole family.
“Please come along and support the charity.”
