Spalding Water Polo is continuing to build momentum, with the club’s growing women’s team, recent achievements and ambitions for the future highlighting an exciting period for the sport locally.
The club had the opportunity to showcase its journey and talk about the development of water polo during an interview with Peterborough City Radio featuring club coach Mark Le Sage and women’s team captain Millie Stewart.
Spalding have enjoyed significant success, with the club being named Swim England East Midlands Club of the Year 2025 and reaching the National Club of the Year 2025 final.
Stewart’s involvement has included supporting the Great Britain Women’s u18 team in Greece, providing valuable experience at an international level.
The club is now looking ahead to further development, with ambitions to continue growing their teams, attract new players and raise the profile of the sport.
